Today’s five minute project is all about spreading the love tall year around! I made these adorable Scrabble tile coasters for our living room, but they would make a perfect gift for that special someone in your life!

A few weeks ago, I picked up two sets of unfinished wood squares at Hobby Lobby for just $2 each. They are the perfect size for coasters, and as soon as I saw them I envisioned them as Scrabble tiles.
I made some of these and absolutely love the way they look sitting on my coffee table! They have a rich look about them and my favorite word is L-O-V-E, so I’m just thrilled about them.
I’ve already decided to make some of these up to give away for gifts. They are a quick and easy DIY project that I know my friends and family will love. As a matter of fact, some of my friends have already seen them and said they want a set!
I bought several packages of these square wooden blocks at Hobby Lobby, some stain and a stencil to make these with and was pleasantly pleased with how little time it took to make these.
