In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 large eggs, 1 cup of butter-flavored pancake syrup, 1 cup of firmly packed light brown sugar, 4 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 tablespoon of flour, and 1/2 cup of chopped pecans. Whisk them well until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked 9″ pastry pie crust and decorate with the halved pecans on top. Place in a 350-degree F preheated oven and bake it for about 45 to 55 minutes or until the canter is just set. Check it in the last 10 minutes of baking to make sure the pecans and pie don’t brown too much or burn. You can place an aluminum foil on top before the last 10 minutes and continue baking until the center is just set.
After baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Slice then serve! Enjoy this yummy dessert with your friends and family.
