If you don’t have a poodle dog skirt or a letter jacket, not to worry. You can use a bomber jacket or a short zip up jacket, red lipstick, cat eyes with black eye liner, bandana in hair or around your neck, a white or white tee shirt or plaid button up shirt and high rise jeans with the cuffs rolled up and a pair of spiky high heels with pointed toes. And, don’t forget that polka dots work for this look too!

There are a number of ways to achieve this look with what you have at home. Take a look on Pinterest and you will see all of the great ideas to put together your 50s costume.

You can also take a pair of white Keds and give them a saddle oxford look with a black sharpie or some black paint.

Watch how Lindsay does this in her step by step tutorial so you can get your 50s on!
