You don’t have to buy those clear globe jars for this project; we will be using old jars instead. Think of jam, pickle, and tomato sauce jars! These are free and perfect for this DIY recycling craft. You can use any jar size, just make sure they are big enough if you plan to add gift cards inside. If you have small jars like I do, use cardboard gift cards so you can easily bend them.
This snow globe does not require any water. You will only need mini styrofoam balls and glitter. You can also use fake snow to create that winter wonderland effect. How to Make a Snow Globe Without Water
Learn how to make a snow globe with this easy tutorial.
Take a plastic lid or any item you can use to elevate the figurines. Brush the top part with PVA glue, then cover it with glitter. Make sure to remove the excess glitter as much as you can. Let it dry.

Make the figurines.
For the first snow globe, glue the small bottle brush tree on top of the red car then tie it with a string.
For the second snow globe, glue bows on the bottle brush trees.
Glue the figurines on the plastic lids.

Glue the plastic lids on the metal lids. Make sure they are centered.

You have the option to decorate the glass with glittes. Simply apply glue with a brush and cover it with glitter.
Once dry, add a few pieces of styrofoam balls, then place the gift card.
Carefully replace the lid.
Glue a red ribbon around the lid, then glue a red bow.
