31. DIY Magnolia Pumpkin
This was the most simple Autumn decor DIY project I have done this year. I had some leftover pumpkins I used in my outdoor display last year and got some Magnolia flowers from Michael’s. I simply attached the flowers to the top of the pumpkin with my trusty glue gun and wrote a holiday message on the front with my gold paint pen. I rate this as one of the easiest, most impressive projects I have ever done, everyone loves it.
32. Fall Candle Centerpiece
This season I cannot get enough lovely candle displays in my home. I had these big candles that looked a bit plain by themselves, so using last years leftover fake leaves, burlap and twine, I dressed them up with the coolest Thanksgiving flair. My guests were amazed at these beauties I had gracing our lovely dinner, they brought so much to my table.
33. DIY Birch Bark Vase
I love this Autumn decor idea and you don’t need much, just birch bark, glass or plastic vases, jute string, leaves.. a beautiful taste of fall! I found the strips of bark came off quite easily from my stash of fireplace logs I have in the backyard or firewood from HEB will work just as well. I just fastened the bark to the vase with jute twine and made the most beautiful fall vase wraps I could imagine. I added rustic looking clippings from my garden and the results were so impressive.
34. Wooden Fall Sign
Great DIY project for all you woodworkers out there. I just love the idea of using the idea of using a leaf shape as your vowel in the word Fall, what a way to bring my favorite season to life. I cut the letters using my circular saw, but they will pre-cut at Home Depot if you ask. You just bolt them down, wood glue will also work, and add your lovely leaf to the middle. This is the perfect outdoor sign to bring your Autumn porch display into full glory, my family loves it.
35. Decoupage Fall Vase
Give a plain vase an autumnal makeover with pretty napkin decoupage — a quick vessel for branches and dried stems.
36. Fall Leaf Initial
I can’t get enough of personalizing our home space with initials, you simply cannot beat the elegance of a monogram. These big foam initials are very inexpensive at Hobby Lobby and artificial or real leaves attach brilliantly. I made a deal with the kids, that whoever helped set up our Autumn display got their own letter over the gorgeous Fall melange. Everyone was so thrilled and we hung our creative crafts proudly right over the porch.

38. Twig Stick Letters
What to do with the remnants of an Autumn yard cleanup, is the question on everyone’s mind this season. I saw these wood stick letters and knew I had to try it. The kids and I made big paper letters and gathered our best sticks, we just broke them by hand, and glued them together on the paper, we didn’t even need a saw or clippers. We wrote out Dad’s name and put it over his parking space in the garage. No better way to say happy Fall and he always knows which parking space is his. A cute fall craft idea you can keep for many years to come.
39. Crepe Paper Sunflowers
Handmade crepe-paper sunflowers bring golden fall cheer to vases and wreaths — no watering required.
40. Happy Fall Sign
If you live in a hot arid climate, nothing gets people in the mood for Fall than a happy Fall sign and some spice candles. I repurposed some old cabinet doors I got at a local junk shop to make my Autumn sign display. I had one made of chicken wire and one ordinary plank door. I used the plank door to stencil my Fall message over a lovely hand painted whitewash, then affixed the two together and created my own little Autumn still life to get my family really in the mood for the holidays.
41. Fall Banner made from Book Pages
These Fall banners are the lowest cost most handsome decoration you can make hands down. All we needed was a string. stickers and old pages from a book. We got some old books for less than a dollar at Goodwill. We made large ones and small ones put them just inside the door of our back porch Autumn display. The kids got a tremendous feeling of accomplishment out of this easy craft project and it was light on my pocketbook.
42. Decorate For Fall At The Dollar Tree
If you are like me you can’t get enough of the wonderful dollar Tree. I found this cheap and simple decorating idea and decided to give it a whirl. I got some etching cream, one bottle will last you forever and 10 glass jars from dollar tree and popping corn at Randalls. Using my Silhouette Cameo Cutter and adhesive vinal I created these etched glass masterpieces. You can also use adhesive stickers if you’re in a pinch, they will still look excellent.
43. Falling Leaves Door Decor
This Autumn leaf Mural looked so good on the door of my antique shop. I glued some leaves onto the glass of the rustic wooden door and the simplicity of the Fall season is singing in quiet understatement, my customers love it.
44. Mason Jar Leaf Lanterns
Autumn leaves glow softly through these mason jar lanterns — the coziest five-minute fall craft there is.
