For one jelly roll, you can make an oval-shaped rug. To achieve the same rainbow effect, keep them in the stack and don’t separate the strips. Sew them together to keep the same colors together. When you make this rug, make sure to use a thread that blends well with the colors of your fabric unless you want it to show. It’s super easy and fast to make. Give this a try!

Step 4:

Set your machine to a zigzag. It should be as wide as possible. Fold the strip how long as you want the center to be, then sew them together. Keep sewing all the way around it to make the rug. Don’t stretch the strip as you sew. Be sure to iron every 3 to 4 rows to prevent waving and rippling of the rug.
