What You Need to Make a Wind Spinner

• paper
• ruler
• cutter
• soda bottle
• protractor or any curved object
• string
• bead

How to Make a Wind Spinner

Step 1:

Get a long strip of paper. Wrap it around the bottle to get the diameter of the bottle. Mark the end. Cut it on the mark. Measure the paper and divide the length into 12. Make marks on the edge of the paper that are equally divided in the measurement you got.

Step 2:

Wrap the paper around the bottle again and mark the top and bottom of the bottle using the marks on the paper as the guide.

Step 3:

Connect the first mark on the top to the second mark on the bottom using a protractor. See the photo below for reference. Repeat all around the bottle.

Step 4:

Carefully cut each curve with a sharp knife or cutter.

Step 5:

Hold it so that the top of the bottle is facing you. Carefully bend the top of each curve to the right. Flip and do the same to the bottom of the curves.

Step 6:

Make a hole in the bottom of the bottle and the cap. Thread the beads onto the string, then insert the string from the bottom of the bottle through the cap.
