Do you have pets? I have the perfect dog craft for you. I love this idea by Whats Sewing so much that I asked my family and friends to take a side-view photo of their pets and told them to send it to me. They had no idea what I’d do with them. When I finished everything, I wrapped each one and gave them as gifts. They all loved them and some even cried. This DIY vintage pet portrait is one of the most amazing gifts you can give to a fur parent.

This project is not only for dogs. You can also try it with your other pets, or make your own self-portrait. It’s super easy to make and only takes a couple of minutes. The only hard part would be taking a side-view photo of your pets, especially if they are very playful.

When you make this at home, I suggest you use beautiful oval wooden frames like the one in the photo above. It adds so much character and fits perfectly with the silhouette portrait.
