If you are looking for a budget-friendly DIY Valentine’s decor for this year, this 3D paper heart wreath is the perfect solution. It is a little bit different from those paper wreaths you see online since this design features 3D hearts and leaves that add more dimension to your space. I used a palette of light pink, dark pink, and purple for the hearts. The colors match perfectly with the green leaves. It’s perfect to hang on your front door or on your wall. You can even make them in different sizes and connect them together to create a large wall decoration.

This paper wreath is so beautiful and incredibly easy to create, making it the perfect Galentine’s Day craft. The best thing about this project is that it fits many different occasions, not only Valentine’s Day. It’s also perfect for spring, Easter, anniversaries, tea parties, and birthdays. How to Make a Paper Wreath
Learn how to make a heart paper wreath with this step-by-step tutorial.
Using a 3″ heart puncher, cut 6 hearts from each color.

Take one heart and fold it in half vertically. Apply a thin strip of glue along the folded edge, then align it with the center of a flat heart of the same color. Repeat with the remaining hearts.

Take a sheet of green colored paper and fold it several times. Trace your leaf pattern onto the top layer and cut it out. Repeat with the remaining green paper until you have enough leaves to cover the wreath ring.
Fold each leaf in half.
Glue the leaves onto the ring using hot glue. Alternate and overlap them slightly as you go.

Glue the 3D hearts around the ring in alternating colors, spacing them evenly on top of the leaves.

Add a bow for extra decoration (optional), then attach a loop of string or ribbon for hanging.
