What You Need to Make A Butterfly Glass Jar

  • kraft paper
  • glass bottle
  • led lights
  • x-acto knife
  • glue
  • butterfly pattern in different sizes

How to Make a DIY Butterfly Glass Jar

The first thing you need to do is lay the glass bottle flat on top of your kraft paper on the edge. Hold it in place at the edge and roll the glass until it is fully covered. Make a mark then remove the glass. Cut the kraft paper a few inches from that mark for some allowance.

Print butterfly patterns in different sizes and cut them out. Trace the patterns on the kraft paper several times in different places. Make sure to tilt or change the angle of the butterfly.

Using an x-acto knife, cut the wings. Make sure not to cut it off completely. Leave the middle part of the body of the butterfly.
