So, I quickly gathered all the materials that I needed. I was so happy I already had most of them at home, except for the pressed flowers. You can find them easily in stores or online. Most of the time you can buy them in packs with assorted flowers and leaves. Just be very careful when handling them, as they are fragile.

I love that you can customize each jar. You can fill one jar with pink flowers and the other with purple flowers. You can also put pressed leaves instead of flowers. Be creative as you want! It is perfect in the evenings as it lights beautifully in the dark.

How to Make a Fairy Light Jar With Flowers

Step 3:

Add more mod podge, a little bit at a time, then add more pressed flowers and leaves. Do small areas at a time as the Mod Podge dries quickly. If your leaves or flowers have stem, they may not lay down properly. You can just place a little flower over it to keep it in place.

Step 4:

Once you are done, filling the jar with flowers, gently go over each one with Mod Podge to seal them onto the jar. Set aside and let it dry.

Step 5:

Wrap a twine string around the top of the jar and make a bow.

Step 6:

Add the fairy lights inside the jar, and try to lay the battery pack flat down the jar.
