It’s also a great patty alternative for a vegan burger! I tried making one, and my vegan friend really loves it. Check out the video below to learn the full list of ingredients, or continue reading down to read the full written instructions.
Shred the cabbage and place it in a pot of boiling water. Cook for seven to ten minutes. Once done, drain well, and transfer the cooked cabbage to a large mixing bowl. Set aside. Next, heat some vegetable oil in a pan, then add the chopped white onions. Saute for four to five minutes or until soft and brown, then add the minced garlic. Continue sauteing until fragrant. Turn the stove off and set aside.

Back to the cabbage, crack two eggs, and add the sauteed onions and garlic along with 1/4 cup of freshly chopped parsley, 1/3 cup semolina, 1 tsp dried thyme, salt, and ground black pepper. Mix everything well, then set aside for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, scoop out the patties into your hands, form them into patties, and set them aside. Once done, heat some cooking oil enough, and fry each side until brown. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
