These 10-minute cabbage patties by Leichte Gemüseküche are simply the best! They are healthy, super easy to make, and delicious. You have to try one with the homemade sauce – it’s amazing.   • 1/2 cabbage (sliced)
  • 1 carrot (grated)
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • vegetable oil

For the sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt
  • 2 sprigs of dill (finely chopped)
  • 1 grated pickled cucumber (grated)
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 teaspoon of pepper
  • pinch of salt

Step 1:

Put the sliced cabbage in a pot and pour over boiling water. Let it cook for about 5 minutes. Once done, drain the water and let it cool.

Step 2:

Add vegetable oil to a saucepan over heat. Once hot, add the sliced onion and saute for about 3 to 5 minutes. Next, add the grated carrots and minced garlic and cook until soft, then remove from heat.

Step 3:

Place the cabbage in a bowl and make a well in the center. Add 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1/3 teaspoon of black pepper. Add the sauteed vegetables and flour to the mixture. Mix until well combined.

Step 4:

Add vegetable oil to a clean pan over heat. Once the oil is hot, scoop from the vegetable mixture using a spoon and form into small patties. Fry each side for 2 minutes until golden brown. Once done, transfer them to a plate. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

Step 5:

Make the sauce. In a small bowl, add 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt, grated pickled cucumber, finely chopped dill, minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and 1/3 teaspoon of pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 6:

Serve the patties with the sauce. Enjoy!
