Periwinkle patterns are my favorite. Missouri Star has plenty of them, and I love them all. They have the vintage one, the mini version, the periwinkle plates, and this stretched periwinkle quilt. All of the designs are lovely and definitely worth making. This pattern is just like the periwinkle quilt, but the points are just stretched out and you will be using a different template to make this project.

This is one of the easiest quilt patterns you can make at home. The steps are very simple and easy to understand. All you need to do is cut the shape using the template, sew two rectangles on the sides, and trim it into a square. Make three more pieces and sew them together like a four-patch. Once done, you have the block. How easy is that? Do not worry about the excess, as Jenny Doan has a table runner project idea for the leftover pieces.
