The finished boxed zipper pouch measures about 7.25″ wide by 6″ tall with a 3.25″ boxed bottom, so it works beautifully as a cute makeup bag, notions case, or road-trip snack stash. This free printable sewing pattern PDF includes full-size pattern pieces (print at 100% and check the 1″ calibration square) plus step-by-step instructions with illustrations.
Assembly
You’ll piece the body from two fabrics, a dotted main print up top and a solid accent band along the bottom, then have fun with the fusible appliqué details: the arched door with its heart window and button handle, a gingham window framed by tie-back curtains, a felt wheel with a big button hub, and a little stitched trailer hitch tucked into the side seam.

Materials Needed for Camper Zipper Pouch
- Outer Fabric A, for the panel upper — 1 fat quarter
- Outer Fabric B, for the panel lower and gusset — 1 fat quarter
- Lining fabric — 1 fat quarter
- Fusible fleece or heavyweight interfacing — 1 fat quarter
- Contrast fabric scraps for appliqué: door, heart, window, curtains, wheel, wheel fender, side tab, and trailer hitch
- Paper-backed fusible web, such as Steam-a-Seam — small piece
- 10″ zipper
- Buttons — 1 large button for the wheel hub and 2 small buttons for the door handle and trailer hitch accent
- Narrow ribbon — 10″, for tying the curtains
- Matching all-purpose thread
