2. Marinate meat

Tenderize meat and bring out its flavors by putting tea.  The acid from the tea helps to break down protein in meat for easier digestion.

3. Repel rodents and insects

The best tea to use for this purpose is peppermint, as it has a mint fragrance. Simply put the used tea bags around your home.

4. Shine and police surfaces

This works on wood, leather, and metal. Use this for older pieces, to bring back their original condition. You just need to rub a moist tea bag on the surface you want to clean, then finish by wiping it with a damp cloth.
