This quick and easy layer cake jolly bar quilt might be the cutest project I have ever made in a while. Isn’t it adorable? It has this diagonal zigzag pattern that goes across the quilt. I absolutely love the design and the colors that Carol Thelen used for this quilt. You have probably seen this quilt before as the original pattern is from the Fat Quarter shop. You can find the free PDF pattern on their website.

As the name of this quilt suggests, you can use layer cakes, 10″ squares, or jolly bars to make this quilt. It only requires one block, which is called the no-bake block. It’s very easy and quick to make. Even beginners can easily understand the steps without encountering any problems. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the orientation of the blocks. Be sure that you are placing them correctly.
