Diagonal fold

Take a sticky note and fold it in half diagonally.

Make a kite

Unfold, then fold the top left and bottom right corners toward the line forming a kite shape.

Make a diamond shape

Fold the corners toward the center line again to form a diamond shape.

Form the petal

Repeat step 3 to make the petal. Make 6 to 8 pieces. The number of pieces depends on the diameter of your skewer and the center of your flower.

Curl the tips

Using a skewer, curl the tips of the petals.

Make the center of the flower

Take a green sticky note and fold it in half. Cut slits on the folded side. Make 2 pieces.

Glue the slits

Glue the uncut end of the slit to the edge of the skewer, then wrap it around.

Make the paper flower

Glue the petals to the center one by one using hot glue. Start by unfolding the outer folds of one petal, then glue the bottom part to the center. Next, apply glue to the side of this petal, then add another petal. Repeat the process until you reach the other side of the first petal.

Last touches

The last thing you need to do is fix the folds and you’re done!

Cool Ideas To Try

  • Add leaves. Cover the skewer with floral tape, then simply cut leaf shapes from the green sticky note and glue them on.
