This chocolate chip pie by Catherine’s Plates on YouTube has all the elements of a chocolate chip cookie but in pie form. Everything can be mixed using one bowl, and I love how the batter looks like cookie dough. I think it’s interesting to put walnuts and chocolate chips, but I would skip out on the walnuts because I do not like them. I love how you can make up anything when it comes to desserts and there are no rules. I would love to serve this chocolate chip pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It would taste so good with the bite of cookie and ice cream to balance out the rich and sweetness from the pie. This gives me a reason to bake a pie when it’s not the holiday season. However, it’s super appropriate and I could switch it up rather than making cookies.
