Painting is therapeutic. This is an easy abstract landscape painting tutorial using masking tape. The paint is satisfying to watch when you brush over the tape and between the lines. I’m not a great painter, but this tutorial by SurajFineArts – Abstract Art presents a great technique for beginners. It’s nice to see the colors blend together and when the masking tape gets ripped off the canvas. I love the silhouettes and blended skies. If I was going to take on this project, I would use shades of blue and paint over it because it’s one of my favorite colors.

First, you want to get your canvas and vertically put your masking tape on. Then, add small paint dots with different colors down the line.

Next, blend in the colors together and rip off the tape. You’re going to want to let that dry before painting your design on top.
