This will definitely become one of your favorite quilt blocks, especially if you prefer colorful and playful patterns that are not too complicated to make. Step 1
Cut 8 squares of assorted print fabric at 4×4 inches, then cut 8 squares of background fabric at 4×4 inches as well, and stack each print square with a background square with their right sides facing.
Step 2
Line the wrong side of the fabric of each stack diagonally from corner to corner, then stitch on both sides of the line with ½ inch seam allowance, and cut them apart along the line. Press the seams toward the darker fabric, then trim each half-square triangle unit into 3½ inches squares.
Step 3
Arrange the block units as shown in the video, then starting at the center, stitch them together, and make sure to nest the seams. Proceed to stitch the side pieces before stitching them to the center, and press the seams as you go.
