  • Pliers
  • Large needle

Step 1

Carefully pull out the zipper tooth at the very top and take out as much as you need, then get a large needle, and insert the zipper tooth pushing it down to widen the gap.

Step 2

Remove the tooth from the needle, then flatten the area without the tooth by pinching it with the pliers, and insert the zipper tooth into it.

Step 3

Make sure that it’s spaced evenly, then pinch it securely and tightly, and repeat as needed until the gap is filled. Try zipping it up and you’re done!
