Materials:

  • old low-waist jeans
  • scissors
  • measuring tape
  • fabric marker

Directions:

Step 1

First, grab some high-waist jeans and measure the length from the waistband up to the crotch area. Next, measure the low waist jeans by using your hands. Place your hand from the crotch area, then mark it using a pencil or a fabric marker. Mark the other pant leg also. From these two marks, draw a line upward, just below the zipper, then cut these lines using scissors. Flip the jeans, then draw a line also at the back, connecting it to the line in front. Cut these lines also.

Step 2

Turn the jeans to the wrong side, then sew the hole that has been cut. Turn the jeans back to the right side. At the back, fold the jeans from both upper parts of the back pockets. Sew these parts. Your high-waist jeans are now finished!
