Materials:
- large sponge
- elastics
- ribbon
- googly eyes
- scissors
- hot glue gun
- bead or button (for the nose)
Directions:
Step 1
Grab your sponge and start to shape the ears of the bear. Using one elastic, tie one corner of the sponge twice. Repeat this to the opposite side. Grab another elastic and place it just above the upper half of the sponge to shape the head of the bear. Now, repeat what you did for the ears to make the feet.

Step 2
Once you’re satisfied with the shape of your bear, it’s time to decorate it. Attach a piece of ribbon to the neck of the bear (up to you how you will design it) using hot glue. After this, add a pair of googly eyes and a bead (or button) for the nose. Your DIY sponge teddy bear is now finished! Repeat these steps to make more.
