These recycled light bulb ornaments are all the rage, they are taking Youtube by storm and everyone is getting a wonderful lesson in recycling! So do not, I repeat, Do Not throw out those old light bulbs because it’s a win-win situation with these infamous high-class glittery light bulb ornament! All you need to make these light bulb ornament projects are some old light bulbs and some decoupage glue or simple Elmer’s will also work fine, craft glitter in various colors, and I used glitter from Michael’s Craft Store, but you could use anything, even metallic spry paint, anything will work fine. I started by placing my different colors of glitter in disposable paper bowls, then placing a layer of wax paper over an old baking sheet to catch the glitter and glue I was applying to my ornaments.

Then I sprinkled glitter all over them and let them dry.

Then I just added hooks and attached them to my tree! These ornaments turned out better than I even thought the would and they look amazing on the Christmas Tree! This project embodies all that I love in the DIY Upcycled and Repurposed World. It’s just so dang cool, this project will provide hours of fun for crafters of any age. These ornaments look so amazing, I hope you loved them as much as I did, they also make great gifts and DIY projects for large groups of children at parties and make great after school activities.

Since I lover experiments, Iโ€™ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
