- lemon
- mandoline (fruit and vegetable slicer)
- clear straight large vase
- your favorite flowers
- water
How to Make a Lemon Floral Vase
Step 1:
Start by slicing the lemons as thin as possible. You can do this by hand but a mandoline slicer will make it so much easier. Be careful not to cut yourself.
Step 2:
Stick the lemon slices to the inside sides of a large glass vase. Make sure they do not overlap. Repeat until the whole vase is covered.
If you are having trouble getting the lemons to stay in place, they may be too heavy or too thick.
Step 3:
Place your flowers inside the vase. You can also place them in a smaller glass vase and insert it to the large vase. The lemons will be sandwiched in between the large and small vases, so they will stay right in place.
