Materials:

  • old tire
  • staple gun
  • glue gun
  • foam
  • foam board
  • poster board
  • acrylic gems
  • cover cloth
  • scissors

Directions:

Step 1

Wash the tire clean. Next, wrap the foam around the tire and secure it by using a staple gun. After this, cover the foam with batting by stapling it also. Get the foam board, place it on top of the tire, then draw a circle. Cut this circle and place it on the bottom of the tire hole. Next, using scissors, cut around the batting for the tufting holes (2″ apart). After this, get the fabric cover (of your choice. In this case, satin was used.) and staple it into the holes around the tire.

Step 2

Get the poster board, cut it to size, and use this to cover the interior of the tire hole. After this, cover it with a tabletop. (In this case, the tabletop was already owned, but you can always purchase one at your local store or online.) Glue some acrylic gems around it for the added design. (This is optional.)
