To do this hack, you will need a zip-lock bag, water, and your refrigerator. They claim that placing a bag filled with water inside your shoe and freezing it for a few hours can help the shoe expand. As we all know, water expands when it freezes. Since you place the water-filled bag inside your shoe, it can stretch the fibers while it freezes. Give this trick a try.

  • resealable plastic bag
  • water
  • freezer

How to Stretch Out Tight Shoes

Step 1:

Fill a reusable bag with 1 to 2 cups of water and seal it properly. Make sure you seal it all the way through.

Step 2:

Place the water-filled plastic bag inside your shoes, jamming it inside. You want it to be as tight as possible.

Step 3:

Place your shoe with the water-filled plastic bag in the freezer for about 6 hours.

Step 4:

After a few hours, remove it from the freezer and take off the ice bag. In some cases, you may need to let the ice defrost before you remove it.
