Wearing your shoes for a long amount of time can cause it to stink because the shoes are not able to let air in and out, then the buildup of sweat causes it to become a breeding ground for bacteria which is also what’s causing the odor. Materials:

  • Baking soda
  • A sheer piece of cloth (paper towel, napkin, or coffee filter)
  • Essential oil, any scent that you want
  • Hair tie or rubber band
  • Rubbing alcohol

Directions:

Step 1

Grab a sheer piece of cloth (paper towel, napkin, or coffee filter), then add a couple of tablespoons of baking soda onto it, you can also add a few drops of essential oil to give it a fresh scent, and then grab the edges together before tying them securely with a hair tie or rubber band to make a little pouch.

Step 2

Make another pouch, then put one on each shoe, and leave them overnight. The next morning, spray an ample amount of rubbing alcohol all over the inside of the shoes, then let it dry completely preferably in the sun, and then you can now wear the shoes.
