Since Easter is almost here, there are a lot of preparations to make from the decorations to the food, and though I have already made a few projects earlier, I still need to make some more. For this year, I decided to make this clay pot animal by One Little Project on YouTube which I can use both as decor and a treat holder.

This is a very easy DIY project that you can make in just a few minutes, the process was made even more simple with the help of the printable template that’s also included in this tutorial. Learn how now by reading the written steps below and while you’re at it watch the video tutorial as well for more details.
Download and print the template, then pick which farm animal you want, and start painting the clay pot with the base color. Paint just inside the rim of the pot, then allow it to dry completely before adding a second coating. Cut out the pieces of the animal that you chose, then trace the parts on a cardstock, and cut them out. Attach the details to the main piece with glue tape, then adhere the pieces to the pot as shown in the video, and use a marker to draw the eyes and nostrils. Now it’s complete, you can try other farm animals, too!
