Don’t you love Easter? We love celebrating this Holiday at home. All of my family members gather on a weekend to design our eggs and do an Easter party. It is a great way to spend time with my loved ones and also allow our creativity to flow. We can do whatever we want. Later on, everyone will decide which is the best depending on different criteria. Kids always look forward to this, even the adults.

If you are having trouble emptying an egg, just insert a needle on the top and bottom to make a hole. Make sure the hole in the bottom is bigger than the top. Grab an empty plastic bottle and remove the cap. Place it upside down on the opening top of the egg and squeeze the bottle to remove the inside into the bowl.

1 – Nail polish

In a bowl of water, add a few drops of nail polish in different colors. You can get creative as you want. Get your empty egg and gently submerge it into the water. Let it dry.

2 – Red wine

Get a piece of flower and place it right side down on an empty egg. Take an old nylon stocking and wrap it around the egg, making sure that the flower is flat, then tie the ends tightly. Fill a glass with red wine then drop the egg. Let it soak for an hour. After an hour, remove the stocking and flower, then let it dry.

3 – Onion

Get a leaf and place it on an empty egg just like what you did with the flower, then cover it with the nylon and tie it tightly. Place a pot filled with water over heat and add onion skin. Drop the egg then let it boil for 15 minutes. Once done, remove the stocking and the leaf. Let it dry.

4 – Hot glue

Dip a paper towel in vegetable oil, then wipe it onto the egg shell. Using hot glue, make a continuous swirl on the shell by rotating it as you put the glue. Or you can be creative and do any design you want. Drop into an Easter egg dye and let it soak for 20 minutes.  Remove then let it dry. Once dry, remove the dried glue.
