Materials for DIY Egg Tray Easter Wreath:

  • Plastic egg tray, Dollar Tree
  • Acrylic or spray paint, white, black, and gold
  • Artificial moss
  • Decorative eggs
  • Paper plate
  • Ribbon bow
  • Wooden letters and rabbit
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Jute rope
  • Small ribbon, for hanging

How to Make a DIY Egg Tray Easter Wreath:

Step 1

Flip the plastic egg tray so that the bottom side is up, then paint it white until completely covered (it may take 2 coats), and set it aside to dry. Once dry, flip the plate over, then remove and pull off the top of each egg, dab some hot glue around the edge of the egg cup, and stick some moss to it.

Step 2

Hot glue the egg into the cup, then continue to do the same steps to the rest and set the tray aside. Cut the center of a paper plate into a circle just around the same size as the center of the tray, then coat it with gold or whatever color that you want, and set it aside to dry completely.

Step 3

Spray paint the wooden letters and embellishments that you will use and let them dry, then stick them to the wreath, and then adhere a ribbon bow at the top as well. Add a small loop of ribbon to the back of the wreath for hanging later, then secure it with hot glue, and let it dry completely. Hang it anywhere you want and you’re done!
