When it comes to crochet projects, there are only a few online tutorials that I can trust, and one of them is naztazia on YouTube! What I love about her projects is how easy and simple they often are, and most of them are perfect for beginners, too.

Her crochet projects are also very cute and trendy and are perfect for gift-giving. This woven heart crochet is so beautiful and you can use any combination of yarn colors that you want, or if you like you can also personalize this adding more designs that you want.
Step 1
Begin with 2 strands of yarn together, then make a slip knot, and chain 4. Make a slip stitch to form a ring, then from there, chain 3, and that will count as 1 double crochet stitch. In this ring, make 7 more stitches, then work in rows instead of rounds, and at the end of the chain, turn your work.
Step 2
Make another double crochet in the same spot making 2 in each stitch, then for row 3 begin with chain 3, and turn your work before proceeding to make double crochet in the same spot. Make a double crochet stitch in the next stitch until you have a total of 24 double crochet, and once you’ve completed row 3, you will have a semi-circle.

Step 3
Start crocheting the weaving strand at the bottom of the heart, then once you reach the end, connect the strand to the edge of the semi-circle with a slip stitch, and move on to the next long strand.
Step 4
Make a total of 4 strands connecting them to the edge of the semi-circle each time, then make another semi-circle in a different color, and weave the strands together. Hold the edges in place with a clip, then use a white strand of yarn, and make a single crochet stitch followed by a chain around the edges.
