It’s the holiday season and is also the time for parties and gatherings, and my favorite items to make or bring over are a few handmade confetti poppers that are way cuter and more inexpensive than store-bought ones!

You can reuse this party popper and refill it with confetti endlessly, you can use this DIY confetti popper for the 4th of July, Christmas, New Year, or even Birthday parties. Learn how to make one with this video tutorial by One Little Project on YouTube.
Step 1
Grab a balloon piece, then tie the opening in a knot, and cut off the end open about ½ inch from the tip. Stretch the balloon open, then insert it over one end of a toilet paper roll, and secure the edges with tape.
Step 2
Cut the white paper into 6″x4½” or wide enough to cover the entire paper roll, then cut the red paper into strips that are about 6″x¼” long, and cut the blue paper into 6″x1½” sections.

Step 3
Take your star puncher and punch out white stars, then tape the white paper around the paper roll, and attach the red and blue paper as shown in the video. Glue the stars over the blue paper and space them apart evenly.
Step 4
Now, put 2-3 tablespoons of confetti inside the tube, and you’re done. To use the popper, hold the knot and pull it down, then quickly let it go, and the confetti will fly through the air.
