Materials:
Fabric A:
- 2 – 1 1/2″ x 31 1/2″ strips
Fabric B:
- 1 – 1 1/2″ x 31 1/2″ strip
Fabric C:
- 1 – 3 1/2″ square
Directions:
Step 1
To start, cut your fabric requirements accordingly, label them, and set them aside. Next, line two pieces of fabric A (1 1/2″ x 31 1/2″ strip) with fabric B (1 1/2″ x 31 1/2″ strip) in the middle. Stitch these together, and press. After this, cut nine 3 1/2″ from this strip set.

Step 2
Now, assemble the block. Place one fabric C (3 1/2″ square) in the center, then add the pieces you cut from the strip set around the center square. (Refer to the image below for the exact placements of each piece.) Once you’re done, sew them in rows, then sew those rows together to complete the block. Press it nicely afterward, and the block is done! Make as many as you need for your desired quilt size.
