Materials:

  • several fabric strips
  • white fabric
  • ruler
  • rotary cutter

Directions:

Step 1

Cut several 3 & 1/2″ x desired length of strips. For each 3 & 1/2″ strip, cut two 1″ x desired length white strips. Pin a white strip on each long edge of your printed strips, sew, then press open. Trim the excess, then cut as many 4 & 1/2″ x 4 & 1/2″ squares as you can from each strip unit.

Step 2

Repeat this process for the rest of your printed strip. Lay the blocks down in an alternating pattern, then sew them together.
