This beautiful quilt by Missouri Star Quilt Company on YouTube is quick to make and unexpectedly easy, too! Even beginners in quilting can do this project. Learn how to make this by watching Jenny Doan’s demonstration and reading the instructions down below. Hope you love this quilt as much as I did.
Step 1
First, grab a square or two, then stack them together making sure that the edges are matching, and place the clamshell template in the corner. Next, cut around the template, then place the other template on top, cut the ends as well as shave up the little bit of curve. Repeat this with the rest of the squares. Get 2 matching clamshells, then lay them together matching their straight edges, and place the 2 matching cutout corners of the clamshells at the bottom with their straight edges lined up as well.

Step 2
With the first clamshell lined up, keep building up the clamshells by placing the next curve at the opening located at the bottom of the clamshells. Continue until you have a row of 6 clamshells, then take the very top clamshell piece, keep the pairs together, and bring it all the way down to your quilt. Once the whole piece is ready, you can start sewing the pieces together making sure to press every now and then. After finishing each row, sew them together, then finish your quilt by adding the backing and border.
