I just love shopping at estate sales, garage sales, and any thrift shops I can find, so I am always on the lookout for attractive furniture makeovers. I recently found this awesome Victorian gothic table makeover by Mark Montano, on YouTube, and I had just the perfect table sitting in my garage waiting to be turned into this beautiful, and artistic idea. This makeover idea can really be used on any type of furniture, I would love to see this exact pattern on an antique bed. You can use any type of chalk paint, Mark really likes the Americana brand, but you can get Waverly chalk paint at Dollar Tree for a very reasonable price.

Materials For The Victorian Gothic Table Makeover:

  • A table
  • Chalk Paint (in pink, white, brown, green, and black)
  • Metallic paint (in gold)
  • Decoupage glue
  • Crumpled paper
  • Spray mat finish

Directions:

In this awesome Victorian gothic table makeover by Mark Montano, on YouTube, you will learn how to do this fabulous furniture makeover in a few easy steps. You begin by painting your surface in the matte black chalk paint. Then cut out all of the items you wish to decoupage onto the table.

Then you will decoupage all of your cut out flowers and leaves onto the table, then cover it with several coats of matte finish spray.
