If you’re a huge fan of Vera Neumann like Mark Montano is, you’re gonna love this DIY project that he does in the attached tutorial!

Vera Neumann, the legendary designer and artist (1907–1993) is quite popular in homes all over the world. Her philosophy was that fine art should be accessible to everyone.

I love her use of color and whimsey and how her art touched everyone from Marilyn Monroe to almost every household in the US.

Scarves, napkins, sheets, tablecloths and clothing were just a few of the things she mass manufactured. She was everywhere!

Mark Montano painted these vases with Vera’s style in mind. He paints on his stash of glass vases that were piling up in his pantry. I know you have a few, too. Why not use them as a canvas?

Mark takes a book by Vera and picks one of his favorite designs to paint on his vases and boy are they fabulous!

These hand painted vases are not only gorgeous for your home, but they make awesome gifts for friends and/or family!

I fell in love with this DIY project as soon as I spotted them on Pinterest. I love all things that are brightly colored so my eye was instantly drawn to these.

Watch how Mark, with Make Your Mark, transforms these vases in his step by step tutorial so you can get busy doing these!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
