• Free pattern download
• A piece of cardboard (cut to the size that fits in your tray table)
• Aluminum foil (I used the heavy-duty kind, that can be found at the grocery store)
• Some scrap batting (enough to wrap your foil-wrapped cardboard 3 times)
• About 2 yards of some cute fabric (to wrap your nifty ironing board with)
• Some sturdy string (to use as a drawstring)

You begin by cutting your cardboard the same size as the tray table and wrapping it in the heavy-duty foil. Then you are going to wrap 3 layers of batting around the cardboard.

Then, you will make the ironing board cover, and sew a channel for the drawstring. Then add the string and wrap your new mini ironing board.
