Materials:

  • An old tire
  • Sharp knife or saw
  • Chalk or marker
  • Drill
  • Screws
  • Paint

Directions:

Step 1

First off, mark the sidewall of your tire as you can see in the photo below, then find the midpoint of the top, and draw a line cutting the thread of the tire in half, use this line to mark the other sidewall repeating the markings that you did earlier.

Step 2

Start cutting off the tire following the markings and lines that you drew, then roll over the flap on both sides of the tire, drill several holes on them, and secure them in place using some screws. Paint it white or whatever color you want, then let it dry completely, and start filling it with plants and flowers.
