Step 1:

Wear your gloves, safety goggles, and safety mask.

Step 2:

Unscrew the knobs and put them inside a bowl with a little bit of hot water. Put a couple of drops of dish soap. Doesn’t matter what kind of dish soap. Soak them for about 10 minutes. This works if your knobs are glass, ceramic, porcelain, bronze, or brass. After 10 minutes, scrub them with a cleaning brush.

Step 3:

Pretreat the cabinet. Take a small bowl and pour a little bit of mineral oil. Dip inside the mineral oil and paint the areas of the cabinet that are super thick with grease. The oil will help to break down the grease. Leave it for 10 minutes. Wipe out all the gunk and all the oil using the sponge. When you are done, throw the sponge away. Paper towels won’t work as the pieces will stick to the cabinet. Cloth, on the other hand, becomes nasty. But you can also just throw them away. The best thing to use is a sponge as it can absorb all of the oil.
