I love Christmas.  Family, the music, the tree, the ornaments, the food, the cookies. It’s one of my favorite times of the year and definitely my favorite holiday. I get warm and fuzzy feelings when Christmas time is here.
I am also excited for Christmas this year so I can finally display the Poinsettia Pillow I created for… $3. For a sewing project to make and decorate for the holidays, this is one of my favorites.
The inspiration came from a Pottery Barn pillow in the most recent catalogue.  The PB pillow is $29, which in my opinion is expensive for something that can only be displayed for one month of the year.
I went in search of the easiest ways to make a poinsettia pillow and found this great tutorial. It’s incredibly easy to make these and I’m so proud of them!
Pillows really talk in home decorating. You can use vibrant throw and accent pillows in every room in your house to pretty up an entire room’s decor and deliver a bold color statement.
Make some of these to give as gifts to friends and family…they will adore them and have them for their holiday decor for many years to come, always remembering that you gave it to them.
