I decided to make myself this plastic bottle handbag when I received an invitation to a party. I wanted something fun and different to carry but didn’t want to spend a lot of money for an item I would use only a couple of times. Instead, I created this fun, unique and budget-friendly purse and I’m so happy with it!
I must say when I first saw this I was so intrigued…actually, blown away is a better description. I just had to see how on earth these people could make a purse out of plastic bottles!
After seeing how she makes this cool purse I simply had to try it. I mean, what did I have to lose? A couple of plastic bottles and some thread?
I love all the crazy off the wall things people come up with for DIY projects! I was surprised at how much this purse looks like a designer bag when I saw it finished.
Nobody ever believes it was made by recycling plastic bottles! I love seeing people’s expressions when I tell them what I made mine out of!
