Would you believe that I saw one of these on Etsy for $75 and they were sold out! This might be one of those DIY projects you can make a little money on. It’s something to think about!

This is so pretty and simple. All you need is an old frame, some spray paint, and fabric/a peg board (or cork, if you prefer). Some people use chicken wire, but I wanted something more elegant looking.

For the longest time I’d been needing to organize my necklaces. I have all of my nice stuff tucked away in little boxes, but my costume jewelry is all over my bathroom – in my linen closet, in my closet on a hanger, in a jewelry bowl on my counter.

A friend of mine recently made her own jewelry organizer by making a frame and putting chicken wire in the back. It was the kick in that pants that I needed to get on this organization train.

Before I went out to buy the necessary tools, I searched online for jewelry organizers to figure out what I wanted and/or needed. I have a lot of necklaces and was worried the framed jewelry organizer wouldn’t allow enough space for all of my baubles.

Then I ran across this tutorial and fell in love with the way it looked. I decided I wanted a large very ornate picture frame for mine and I found one at the thrift store that was perfect. That’s when I got really excited about making this cool jewelry organizer for my necklaces.

And, I simply had to have some of those glass knobs to hang my necklaces on and I found them at Hobby Lobby. I was good to go and it turned out fabulous!

I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
