When I found this one-yard pyjama set video tutorial by Seamingly Sarah, on YouTube, I had to try this cool and affordable pyjama idea. All you need to do is to use a pair of old pyjamas that fit, to cut this pattern from. This method of making a DIY pattern is so easy, and it is often called clothes cloning. Making patterns from your own clothes is perfect because you always know that your new pattern is going to fit, which is not always easy if you are using a pre-made paper pattern. I guess you can get a great fit with pre-made paper patterns but really does involve math. If you are not good at math, like me, the paper pattern project has the potential to be rife with mistakes, so using my own clothes really works for me.
