I absolutely fell head over heels in love with this angel’s face! I would have never thought that using a wood burning tool would make a piece of art look so awesome.
I’d never been a big fan of wood burned pieces of art until I saw this one. I got on Amazon and ordered a wood burner and it was actually pretty cheap.
I got so excited about doing this piece of art that I couldn’t hardly wait to get busy doing it. The wood burner couldn’t get there fast enough!
When I drew her on the piece of wood I was nervous at first, but I just took my time and erased when I thought it didn’t look quite right. I wanted to get as close as I could to Michele’s drawing of the angel she does in this tutorial. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how great it turned out!
Since making this, I’ve ventured into a few other paintings along these lines and they look awesome in a grouping on a wall in my home.
