Joanna Gaines Plans To Expand Their Magnolia Empire with 6 New Stores

Joanna and husband Chip Gaines are planning to expand their Magnolia Empire at the Silos with six new stores in Waco, Texas. The home improvement power couple announced in a recent Instagram post that their new construction project is coming soon. Their store, Magnolia Market at the Silos first opened in 2015. The property already includes a large retail store, Magnolia Seed + Supply for all things gardening, Silos Baking Co., and a food truck area. According to Joanna’s blog post, she wanted to create the feeling of something quaint and nostalgic. The expansion plan at the Silos will feature six little cottages that people could go in and out of as they strolled along tree-lined sidewalks at their leisurely pace. I love Joanna Gaines and I’m so happy she has an opportunity to share her idea of shopping experience with other people. The construction of the new place is supposed to continue throughout the summer and hopefully completed by the fall. Each retail cottage will have its own theme and name.
Below is the cottage’s name and what each has to offer:
- Chapter One will be dedicated to books and paper
- No. 16 to men’s provisions
- Tried & True to bags and jewelry
- Reverie to women’s clothing
- Vie Bien Aimée to bath and body
- Juniper & Crew to kids and baby products.
Most of the products will only be available in the stores at Waco, but a limited number of products will be online too. I would need to plan a trip to Waco, Texas when the construction is finished. Right now, I am only able to shop her collection at Target. There are so many things I want from her collection, so I can’t wait for the Shops at Silos experience in person. Overall, this is exciting news for the Gaines family and their new additions for the Silos grounds.
