I make this potpourri every day. I love the vibe and mood it sets, and it makes our house cozier and homier. Reading a book beside the window while snow is falling, with a hot chocolate, and of course, the lovely smell of this potpourri – swear, I can do this until the end of the year. Ingredients:

  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 – 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp whole clove
  • a handful of cranberries

Directions:

Step 1

To start, cut your orange and lemon into thin slices. Next, line your saucepan with the orange and lemon slices. After this, add a handful of cranberries followed by 1 tbsp whole clove, a few sprigs of rosemary, and two to three sticks of cinnamon.

Step 2

Once done, pour in water enough to cover all of the ingredients. Turn on the stove and set the heat to high. Once it boils, turn it down to simmer and leave it throughout the day.
