When I found this watering can light video tutorial by Life At 50 & Beyond, on YouTube, I fell head over heels in love with this DIY! All you are going to need is a watering can and a string of LED lights, and your trusty hot glue gun, and you have got this excellent DIY in the bag. I am going to put these watering cans on either side of my front door, so I can enjoy the cascading water fairy lights every night. The light these watering cans cast is soft and luminous, and if you get LED lights that flicker, they will look like real water.

Materials For Watering Can LED Cascading Lights:

  • 1 watering can (from your local hardware store)
  • 1 set of LED string lights (you can get a remote control and flickering options that are really cool)
  • A hot glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  • A garden hook
